This is the pros and cons of a jailbroken iPhone
1)You can install apps that aren't available from the iTunes App Store (eg.cydia)
2)Free tethering
3)You can to alter your iPhone's look and feel, there are plenty of themes available through WinterBoard and Cydia
4)Access to the iOS file system
5)Change wireless providers, which could be very useful
6)Unfortunately, the risk of malware in Unscreened apps for iOS can only affect Jailbroken devices
7)Void your warranty
8)Little anti-virus protection
9)You can't update an application officially if you downloaded an unofficial version
10)Although extremely rare, Buggy unauthorized apps can crash an iPhone or iPad or even "brick" them render them unusable.
But, overall, its worth the risk…
So much to explore and almost all applications come for free in jailbroken devices
I only use jailbroken devices… They are much more fun than you may think and I've never encountered any problems before
