I wouldn't even consider using jailbreak on mine. From what I've seen it really slows it down and to be honest I don't use enough Apps to make it worth while anyway as the ones I use are all free.
It can be good as you add more customization, but you do take a risk of completely messing up your device. You could also void any warranties on it.
I personally wouldn't bother.
