Jailbroken iPhone Keeps Crashing?

I run on iOS 5.0.1 jailbroken by redsn0w. Right after I went and updated all my apps on the appstore(stupidly), it started to run really slow and right now I can't do anything other than turn it on and press some things before it turns off and turns back on. I can't seem to get them to download in time before it shuts off. It's using up a lot of battery, too.

Is there anyway I can delete the apps or manage them in safe mode? Or do I have to go and restore the whole phone and download everything back? Also, if I do a backup both on iTunes and iCloud, would I be able to get my SMS messages back?

Back everything up and restore and then jailbreak again. It's a challenge getting into safe mode cause it's like physical memory dump. When too much is going on it goes into safe mode. It shud be okai after that. And don't use AppStore for downloading apps. You can if you want to but its better to use installous 5 type that on cydia after you done as I said before. If you manage to get It into safe mode.goto cydia and uninstall wat u last install and delete any apps that made your iPhone go slow

After I restarted substrate safe mode it crashes into safe mode so then I restarted it only to find it crashed into safe mode again. Eery time i restart it crashes into safe mode. When i reboot my phone manually it goes back to normal but without my tweaks. How do i get my tweaks back
