Japan? Can i take iPhone 5 over there?
I'm moving to japan for 3 years because I'm getting orders over there and I'm moving to an american base but i still want to use my iPhone 5, can i use it over there? Do they have Verizon over at japan or what do i do with my iphone?
You can certainly take your Verizon Wireless iPhone 5 to Japan. You will, however, need to call customer service to make sure it is global ready. Verizon offers international dialling, which enables texting and calling. This is a pay as you go rate, so you would have to inquire about the rates for Japan. Verizon also offers the Global Data package, which includes 100mb per month for $25 a month. Because you will be there for 3 years, it is likely a better option to have your phone unlocked for an international sim card. This way, you would be able to use your iPhone while in Japan, but under a Japanese carrier. It will be a much cheaper option due to the length you will be there.
You can find out more details about the rates by visiting www.vzw.com or by calling customer support at 800-922-0204, or *611 from your Verizon Wireless phone.
We do not have Verizon in Japan. But if your iPhone is SIM-free, you can buy this kind of SIM only plan in Japan. And you can use your current iPhone 5.

- Trying to transfer pictures from an iPhone 6s to a computer. Device files says there's only 70 images but in the phone, there's over 1000? I've tried backing it up, and going through iCloud. Help. Yes, photos are in camera roll. Robert, did that. Same results.

- My iPhone 4S keeps vibrating over and over for no reason? It does it like every 10 minutes for about 30 seconds. It's almost like getting a notification every second. I'm not getting any notifications though, it's just vibrating for no reason whatsoever… What's wrong with it?
