JavaScript sample, what does this mean?
My partne had local slags on hi iPhone history. He says this came from an advert that popped up on words with friends. However right before local slags on his iPhone history it said 'JavaScript sample' what does this mean? Does this mean that it's something to do with a pop up and he is telling truth or does it have something to do with private browsing? What is javascript sample and why would this be in iPhone history?
The problem here is that it could come from either side. JavaScript is the language used to make browsers interactive. It is text that is interpreted by your browser so it is load and go. When you download a page JavaScript may be inline(In an event attribute like on click), embedded (put in the HTML between script html tags) or in separate files that are referenced by the script tag. There are also several malicious plugins that are designed to get and execute JavaScript to open ads or add them to the page by manipulating the HTML of the page. You may have even gone to a page with JavaScript examples. As you can see without more information it will be hard to say what is going on.
