Keeping Verizon's Unlimited Data?
I currently have unlimited data on my broken iphone 4. I do not have insurance on the phone. I tried to use my upgrade, but the verizon employee told me that if i were to do so, I would forfeit my unlimited data because it would require me to sign a new two year contract and they no longer offer unlimited data. I was wondering, if i got my dad to get a new phone through his upgrade and give me the iphone 4 he is currently using, would i be able to activate it to my number and keep my unlimited data? He doesn't have unlimited data on his phone, so it is harmless to him.
Not sure, but you can certainly ask Verizon if you get another phone without an upgrade can you keep your unlimited data. Sounds like a great idea, good luck.

- What can I do to keep my unlimited data plan on Verizon and upgrade to the iPhone 5? Now I already know that I can buy one full price from Verizon for about $649 but I don't want to go that route, and I don't want to buy a subsidized iPhone 5 and end up losing my unlimited data plan. Would I be able to just wait and buy a used iPhone 5 after it comes out and then have them activate the phone on my account? They wouldn't be able to take away my unlimited data would they?
- Verizon Unlimited Data Plan- Iphone 4S? I've seen a lot of answers about paying full price for IPhone 5 to keep your unlimited data plan. I have a 4 and I'm eligible for an upgrade now. Does anyone know if I choose to get the 4S (instead of the 5) if I can keep the plan? And would it be full price or upgrade price?
- Quick formatting iPhone? Deleting all data, but keeping the current iOS as brand new? Besides going to settings-general-reset-Erase all content and settings? It takes hours long to format. I'm not asking for the restore with itunes. I want to format it quick. Any tools available in the software market?
- Is it worth lossing the unlimited data for Verizon? I currently have a iPhone 4 from Verizon with unlimited 3G which is good but it's slow I've been looking to getting the 5 with a 4gb of mobile data is it worth lossing the unlimited 3G? Also I have the upgrade in my line but if I upgrade my line I will Lose it ether way.
