Keys on my iphone 5s keyboard unresponsive?
When I try to text, my 't', 'f', 'g', 'c', and 'v' keys are unresponsive. The responsiveness of other keys, like the "send" button seems on and off. And I have even briefly had a problem where my finger could "press" keys just by hovering near them (though it would press an adjacent key rather than the one I intended) or would just type a long string of random gibberish when I pressed a key. What is going on?
Most likely the touchscreen is damaged or failing.
Try turning it in it's side so the keys are in a different area of the screen & see if the problem goes or affects different letters.
If so, you need to replace the screen assembly (which includes the touchscreen).
They are relatively cheap on ebay and there are masses of step-by-step instruction videos on youtube showing how to do the replacement in detail.
Many screens come with the toolkit you need to do the job.
Thanks. I turned it on its side and now all the letters work. I'll repair it but for now I have a quick fix.
- My iPhone is having many problems, it keeps freezing and touching the wrong keys My iPhone is freezing every second when I'm using it. Like the keyboard keys freeze when I'm typing. Always sometimes when I click an icon on my home screen it likes the button next to it! Anyone know any solutions without getting a new one! I have also tried powering it off and on didn't work!
- My iPhone 4S is unresponsive? My phone was working fine and then the home button stopped working so I changed the setting so it was an on screen home button. I went to bed and the next morning my phone wouldn't turn on, I tried charging it and it was un responsive I tried the home and lock button combination and it still won't work, i don't know what's happened to my phone, any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

- Iphone 4 black screen, unresponsive? Me iphone 4 is completely unresponsive and has a black screen, but when i plug it into the computer it gets into an endless loop. The apple logo will show up then the screen goes black and do it again and again and again and again.itunes doesn't recognize that its plugged in so i can't restore it.
