Killer-N wireless works on networks other than my home network?
Okay so I have an Alienware M17x R4 and the Killer- N 1103 Wireless Adapter.
The situation is, at home I have a Netgear DGN3500 router and at work… Well I'm not actually sure what router we have.
Anyway… My wireless internet connection works flawlessly at work.
However at home on the netgear wireless network my laptop can't keep an internet connection. It stays connected to the network but refuses to keep a connection.
I have a diploma in network engineering and I'm out of ideas. I studied quite a few years ago now so technology has changed so much since then. I just need some ideas.
inSSIDer hasn't helped at all. The Killer-N wireless software is hopeless. I've tried uninstalling it.
I've even tried uninstalling my antivirus and firewall. Nothing has helped.
Right now I'm using my iPhones personal hotspot, and guess what… It's working fine. This is what leads me to believe my laptop doesn't like my wireless network.
Added (1). It's definitely a wireless issue. Works fine when I plug it in
Added (2). Also. Every other wireless device in the house works fine.
Try to determine exactly where the problem it
1) Wi-Fi
2) your lan
3) your modem connection
In the Internet dropping out when you connect via Ethernet?
If so its not a Wi-Fi problem.
- Why can't i connect to my Wi-Fi if it works for other networks? My iPhone is really old is iPhone 2 but then it works fine. But i can't connect to my home Wi-Fi. It connects to other Wi-Fi networks when I'm at a friends house. I'm within the range for me house cause I'm next to the hotspot. For my friends house, I'm in the living room and the hotspot is in the bedroom which is 2 rooms down. Please help me. If i restore my iPhone will my Wi-Fi work?

- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- My wireless network works for my iPhone, but not for me laptop? My laptop says that it is connected to the Wi-Fi network (with full connectivity), but then when I try to open a webpage, it won't load. My internet works on my iPhone, so I know this isn't a problem with the router. I've already tried restarting the router, but this hasn't worked.
