Laptop and desktop won't connect to the internet over Wi-Fi?

My laptop and desktop won't connect to the Wi-Fi but my iphone can for some odd reason. This has happened before but i don't understand why it keeps happening. My desktop uses a USB Wi-Fi adapter and my laptop has a built in one. I've tried restarting the modem but nothing happens.

You should have specified the problem in a more detailed way. I need the description of exactly what's happening.

Are you able to discover your network and just not able to connect it, or your Laptop, PC don't even discover the network?

Anyway there may be two causes.

1. Your router is configured to use 802.11ac standard Wi-Fi. Older devices don't recognize this standard. You should make change in the router settings forcing it to use 802.11n or the mixed network.

2. In case you are able to discover connection but your device simply refuses to connect, then you might have changed your network password at some point. In this case go to Start > search for 'Manage Wireless Connections'. There you'll be able to see name of your network. Delete it from there. Now when you try to connect it'll ask for the password. Enter the new password and done.

Hope this helps.
