Laptop won't connect to Wi-Fi? - 1
I have an HP mini that connects to any Wi-Fi but the one at my house. The Wi-Fi itself connects perfectly to my Iphone & an Ipad, but not the laptop.
I've tried turning the router off, unplugging & plugging it back in, etc.
There's a password on the Wi-Fi & the laptop doesn't even give me an option to enter the password. Could this be the problem? I've looked everywhere for an option to manually set up the connection, I can't find any. Can you help?
Turn it off and on again
Check again the connection access and make sure it is yours
Can your PC find the router and if so is the connection limited?
Most likely what is happening is your Wi-Fi router is misconfigured. Depending on the make and model of your router you may be able to get around this by adjusting settings for attached devices. Usually there will be a setting for broadcast or 'only allow listed devices'. Manually entering the MAC address of each piece and specifying allowed might get you working.
Google your router model and see what the login ip address, and default username and password are.
Additionally, unplugging a router is not a good idea because it may wipe settings you need to set manually in some more complicated network configs.
I guess you should restart the laptop, or find a cable to connect to the router
Go to control panel-"choose display large icons"-"network and sharing center"-"change adapter settings"
finally you have to check if your wireless connection is activate or not
- Why won't my Iphone 4s connect to my new HP laptop? I just bought my laptop about 2 days ago and i downloaded itunes. As soon as i plugged in my iphone, a background noise popped up, and nothing happened. So i opened itunes and it would not show my iphone. Also in my computer, it did not register it either. PS: i know its not a faulty cord, because i tried 3 different ones, and every time i plug it in or unplug it makes that background noise.

- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
