How come my LCD fixes itself when I push on the screen?

After replacing my iPhone 6 screen about a year ago, my phone screen started flickering. I noticed when I push down on the screen near the upper right hand corner it stops. Why is this? Is that where the LCD cables are on the mother board?

This is a problem with many iPhones just make sure the replacement screen is put in properly

There's poor contact between the screen and the circuit board that drives it.
