Lightroom mobile presets?

I'm one of the stupid people who purchase lightroom presets from "influencers". The thing is, I just purchased a desktop preset pack from this Travelinhershoes website. And I saw she was also selling same presets as mobile version.

I just edited my picture with her preset and tried to export this picture as DNG file. Saved it on my iPhone, worked it the same way on lightroom mobile. Tada- it worked. Exactly same image as my desktop computer.

Is there slight difference that I don't notice? Why do people pay $$ to buy mobile presets when they can simply buy one desktop version and export as DNG and use it on mobile as well? Cuz they don't want to go through all these steps?

I'm new to everything. And I'm not a native English speaker, so I hope, at least some people understand what I say.

Not everyone uses a computer. Surprised?

Many people aren't as astute as you when it comes to technologies such as DNG files.
Add in the fact that many people are simply too lazy to be "bothered" with transferring the files to or from the computer or phone. For most people, they use their phone to take and edit their photos.

I may be wrong here, but you seem to be more advanced and use your real camera, or you're transferring your files from your phone, to your computer, editing them, and then transferring them back to your phone as DNG files. For most people just transferring alone is way too much work, so they don't do it. These are the people who buy the mobile version. And the people who sell these mobile presents know this, which is why they have two different versions is the first place.

Consider yourself to be smarter than the average bear, and keep doin' what you're doin'.

  • Turtle Beach XP500 Presets and Bluetooth? I've been trying to use my XP500s as regular headphones with my iPhone via bluetooth and getting them to sound better using the preset feature. However, not matter what I do to the presets, the headset doesn't seem to sound any different. Do the presets not affect the bluetooth/bluetooth without the receiver in range? Would I be better off just buying actual headphones(Sennheiser 419/229s)?
