How long will the iPhone 4 still be usable for for Facebook etc, will it keep getting the updates?
According to Apple Support the iPhone 4 is on Vintage Support Status and the latest supported iOS Version for the iPhone 4 is 7.1.2. Looking up the Facebook app itself in the App Store it mentions that it support iOS 8 and later so the latest app will not work with the iPhone 4. However you can install an older version of Facebook on the phone by using the App Store or use the web app on Facebook.com.

- Would my Iphone backup still be usable? Right now i'm running iOS 7.1.2 and i want to downgrade my iphone to 7.0.6 (to jailbreak it). If i backup my iphone while running 7.1.2 could i still put everything back on while running 7.0.6?
- Why does my iPhone keep asking for updates? I've done the iOS6 update two different times and my phone just asked for it again yesterday. I don't understand. I have an iPhone4 btw.
