Loosing music on iphone when syncing?

So I got a new laptop and my itunes has mucked up and only transferred my purchased songs. I have all my music still on my ipod but if I plug this in and sync it with my new laptop (to put on new songs I've just downloaded from CD's) will I loose the music already on the ipod?

You shouldn't. It should sync (backup) copies of the files on iTunes. Make sure your iTunes music library isn't corrupted. Or did move it all over from the old laptop? Just because you put iTunes on a new machine doesn't move your library with it. Those files are considered 'local' or stored on your old machine's C drive in the music folder. The purchased songs you see are probably still stored because of the iCloud backup feature. ICloud is on 5gb max so it most likely won't hold of your music anyway. Bottom line port the music files from old PC to new PC on iTunes. Best luck.

  • Should my mechanical wrist watch be loosing time? I bought a very nice $5000 montblanc wristwatch a week ago and I've synced it almost perfectly to the iPhone watch and I've noticed that my wrist watch tends to run ahead about 50 seconds every day. Is this normal?
