Lost Dead Phone in Forest Type Area?
Dropped my phone while climbing a mountain, realized phone was gone after scaling a small area (20 square yards). Is there anything I can do to help find this phone? There was a highway near, so I tried calling but the highway was too loud. Find my iphone doesn't work because it's dead. Any strategies on how i could find it?
I would check around the base of where you scaled. Those phones can bounce good. If you can't find it then it is best to cancel it and get a new one. If the ringer is on you should have your friend come with you and call it before the battery goes on it. Once the battery goes your pretty much screwed.
Once your phone is dead OR has no Internet access, there isn't anything you can do to track it. The most feasible thing would be to go back where you think you lost it and manually search for it.
