Lost iphone. What should I do?
I recently lost my iPhone and I haven't be able to track with "Find my iPhone". My brother said that whoever found it probably already unlocked it and that if they did I wouldn't be able to track it anymore. I already told reported lost to my service provider, but is this true. That if someone already unlocked it or restored my phone I won't be able to track it?
I never heard of tracking iphones. Currently i'm a droid fan. What about insurance? Are you covered? Is there someone you know who may have wanted to take your phone or stuff on your phone that makes it so valuable?
- Somebody I know just lost her iPhone 4s - what should she do? She called me on her friends phone obviously. i tried to call her back but obviously she's using that phone of her friends so its engaged. i simply wanted to tell her to call her wireless carrier and tell them to cut the service off that phone cos if its stolen and in the wrong hands - that individual could rack up insane charges etc what's the FIRST thing she should do? Report it stolen to the police?
- Lost iPhone, should I erase it? My iPhone was stolen & I used find my iPhone to see that it has been tracked to a pretty seedy apartment complex. The thief turned the phone off (or it died) & now I'm not even sure that it's still there. So I'm using my old 3 right now but after I backed it up I found that none of my photos were there. About 3 months of pictures. So should I wipe the phone? Is there a way to get the photos from iCloud? If I wipe the phone would it delete the photos from iCloud?
- Lost iPhone 5s, Is sprint aware if your iPhone is in Lost Mode? I lost my iPhone 5s today. I enabled the lost mode in the phone and I'm currently tracking it. Does sprint know when a iPhone is in lost mode? Does it know if you lost your iPhone and your tracking it?
- I'm going to cry. I lost my iPhone! What should I do? My phone is offline and it can't use that app >< How do you go on cloud? I don't think people would be nice enough to return it ><
