Lost my iphone videos i recorded

I recorded a bunch of videos on my iphone when i went to a concert. I sold my iPhone. I had everything saved on my Mac, however, its as if the video is still on the computer, but its just like a picture now? What's wrong? Will i ever get my videos back!

If you never watched the videos before, then there's a good chance that you actually took pictures thinking you were taking videos. This has happened to me before.
