Lube in my iphone speaker?

So last night i was with my boyfriend and my phone was on the bed and the lube wasn't closed properly and i guess i ended up sitting on it and it went everywhere. I took my iphone case off and the lube was everywhere now whenever i play a video or someone rings i can't hear it properly even when its on the highest volume and sometimes when i plug my phone to charge it doesn't charge, i have to turn it off then turn it back on and itll show that its charging. Does anyone know how i can get this out of my phone?

Is your iPhone one of the water resistant models? If so, just place it in a bowl of warm water and gently rub off the water-based lube. Don't run it under a tap though: the water resistance rating on models before the latest ones is not certain to resist that. Also don't attempt this if the screen is significantly chipped or has scratched or if the edge of the casing has any dents.

If the phone can't be submerged then wipe off all obvious lube and allow the rest to dry. Then use an old toothbrush, dry, to brush out the dried residues from the speakers and microphone apertures.

It would be wise to fully back up the phone before you clean it, just in case it goes wrong and damages your phone.
