MAC: iCloud and iPhone confused
So I have an iphone 4s and I just got a new iphone 5s, I bought apps using my 4s and had files in them (documents etc, I placed shared on icloud too)… And I'm giving away my 4s to my younger brother
under "icloud" in "settings" there's a "delete account" if I delete the account in my 4s will my purchased apps and documents in iCloud be gone? I have already set up my 5s and my apps and documents appear to be in them but I'm afraid that once I click it the icloud account in my 4s phone, all my files in 5s will go with it
my brother doesn't want any of my old documents left in the 4s.
I'm so confused and scared my files will be forever gone.
BTW: I set up my 5s by back-upping my 4s via itunes
No, I have the same issue. It only deletes them from that device. You'll still have the account. And everything will still be there
Once you've set up the iCloud account in the 5s you could restore the 4s (wiping the data). Either way though I'd download those documents to have a backup just in case.
- Imessage. Can send image from iphone to mac but not mac to iphone? What's going on? Try to send image from mac and error saying "04******** can't receive file transfers"
- I just got an iPhone the other day and I'm confused with the iMessage? I sent an iMessage yesterday on IPhone but today realized that it failed to send, if i resend it today will it show up (to the person that i'm sending it to) as yesterday or today?
- I just got an iPhone 4 and I'm a bit confused? So I have 3gb Internet per month And it says I've used 80.17 mb out of like 3k What doe that mean? Am I close to going over? Or am I in the safe zone?
- I bought a Mac, how do I get rid of linux and install Mac OS again? I bought this mac second hand. It is an iBook G4, but the people installed linux on it and I would like the OS software on it instead as I have an iPhone and an iPod and iCloud and I would just rather deal with something that I'm familiar with, but I have been looking and I have no idea how to delete it and put what I want on it.
