Making a video with windows movie maker?
So I'm trying to make a video with windows movie maker.
I need to use an Internet cafe because my laptop is broken, in London UK.
I tried e-mailing a number of clips to myself from my Iphone, this sent them in a file format that wasn't compatible with windows movie maker.
I converted them in two ways;
I used the website zamzar.com to upload video's from my Iphone and convert them to Avi, I then used the download app on my Iphone to download the converted file from zamzar.com. These were then able to upload straight to windows movie maker but they played at a slower frame rate and with a more pixelated screen.
The second way was to download converter lite at the Internet cafe and use that to convert the files to Avi where they could then be imported to windows movie maker. When I tried to import the converted files I received an error message saying I did not have the required codecs to do this. This confused me as I had just imported other Avi files to windows movie maker on the same computer.
My next attempt will be to connect the Iphone to the computer and import via Itunes. What is the typical file format for a video recorded on the IPhone 4S when uploaded to a PC and imported via ITunes. I also have videos on my Iphone downloaded from YouTube in an MP4 format. Is this compatible with windows movie maker or windows live maker?
Any advice is greatly appreciated and certainly worth 10 points.
The best video format for windows movie maker is wmv and mpeg, so you'd better convert your videos to wmv or mpeg format on your computer, that's easy, you just need to use a video converter software to help you, like rz video converter, etc.
- Windows movie maker won't play my videos Well I've been trying to import videos from my iPhone/folders into WMM, but whenever I do this it comes up with a message which says it doesn't support the programme (quick time player and iTunes). Does anybody know how I can fix this/or where to find another movie maker?
- Windows Movie Maker won't let me use a video I recorded with my iPhone 4? Why not? I open Windows Movie Maker, and I browse through my pictures/videos and it's not there. Every video I have with my webcam is there, but none of my videos with my iPhone is there. And I don't want to upload the video straight from my iphone because I know the quality will end up being terrible. What do I do?
- Windows movie maker quality I made a video from my iphone and the quality was really good. Then to edit in the Windows Movie Maker, i converted my video from quick player to wmv. Now I've just finished my video but the quality is not same as the first video. What should I do? PS: When i upload to youtube without Windows Movie Maker the quality is 720, with the maker it is seriously low.
- Why won't windows movie maker let me use my video? So i have videos from my iphone that i want to put on WMM, but it wouldnt let me because of the format. I installed a codec and converted it to AVI from. MOV and it won't let me look at the video, its just a black screen.
