Making alittle extra cash, iPhone cases?

I'm trying to make some extra mine and was think about making and selling iPhone cases. How do you go about doing that where can you buy the cases and then where do you sell them?

Having the idea for a craft to make $ is one part of the puzzle. If you can't even think up a project on your own how will you be able to complete your task? Have you tried searching on Pinterest or do a google search? Cases can be bought at dollar stores. The E6000 glue can be found at Michaels along with the Swarovski flat back crystals that you will need to glue onto the cases. These give you the best bling effect, but costly. Some packs run in 3 sizes of the same color for $9.99 and you get about 120. You could also buy the acrylic flat backs but have a cheap kidsy bling effect to fill up large spaces. Try doing a you tube search for videos on how to decorate a cell phone case cover. You'll need a venue to sell. There are many online sites ebay, etsy, zibbet (my choice), craft shows (pay for booth space-sometimes the tables & chairs are provided & most are not). Craft shows could be in parking lots, near retail shopping at the store fronts, in churches, bingo halls, golf clubs, reception halls, schools, parks. Lots of home made crafters also use their facebook pages by taking a few photos of the item & putting them in an album. For example I make & sell jewelry. I could have an album titled Earrings. Then upload 3 photos in one post in the album with different views. The description of the album titled earrings I would leave blank or list a variety of styles you enjoy making. Then you can give a description below each photo. I usually include the price (always note about shipping. If it's free, l the base price (less with the purchase of an additional item), always state for example $8.00 per pair. If you are selling a set of jewelry (earrings, necklace, ring). State what is all included. Maybe do a search for iphone cases on face book to see if others are selling them through the social network. There's a LOT that goes into selling a hand made or crafted item. NOT just the idea. Plus you have to calculate the price that you will sell it for. That gets hard for many people who do hand made. I change my prices from craft show to craft show depending on the clientel that I may have. Generally you charge 4 x's the amount you paid for the supplies. Some calculate 2x's the supplies & charge an hourly labor rate (what they feel they are worth for their time depending on the task, technique, research etc).
