Mapping software with gps and iphone compatable?
I will be making deliveries in multiply cities in the next few days on foot and am after a mapping software that i can plot on my PC then one on my iphone I can use the GPS to make sure i'm on route.
One solution would be to buy a product that runs on Microsoft Windows and can create walking routes such as the Maptitude Mapping Software. You could then export your route to Google KML/KMZ and view the route via a browser in Google Maps.
- What GPS tracking iphone apps (cycling and running) can be used without a 3G signal? I have been using both endomondo and mapmyride for my running and cycling. When I came to track my mountain biking neither of the apps would start a workout because I was out in the sticks with no network connection. I wasn't expecting any live maps, but was expecting either one of the above to be able to track my coordinates by GPS, to be uploaded later. Shame really because I like the apps. Do they actually works without a network signal and I'm missing something?
- Itunes and MAC not compatable? I have a MAC OS X version 10.5.8. When I plugged my iphone 4 into the computer it said that I needed to update my iTunes, so i installed 11.1.3 for MAC. After it installed, I went to open iTunes and a messaged popped up saying "this update requires 10.6.8 or later". I went to my MAC setting and check, everything is up to date. I tried to uninstall and reinstalled and I had no luck. Praying some of y'all know how to fix this.
- Is the iPhone 4g screen compatable with the iPhone 4s? I'm try to fix the screen to a shattered iphone 4s and I have a extra iPhone 4g sitting around, I was wondering if I could simply use the screen to replace it
- Is ''Iphone'' software only or hardware and software? I've never had an Iphone. I always see it anounced in an absolutely black device, such as this one: http://pective.com/m/iphone-5 I wonder whether, when you're going to buy one, you go to the apple store and buy the whole thing, or look for a Nokia or Sony smartphone and then go to the Apple website and buy and download the software into your device.
