Why do some of my messages sent to a person send as green and some as blue?
I'm texting a person who has an old iphone and they only get messages when they're connected to Wi-Fi.Sometimes my messages to them will send as green and others will be sent as blue, and some of them will look blue at first but then switches to green when it finishes delivering.
are all of them sending? The person will usually reply but it takes them a couple of hours due to the phone issue. My concern is that something won't send and I won't know it, so I'll be waiting for a response
the last message I sent was blue and it says delivered, does that mean it went through for sure?
Added (1). okay, I get that green is SMS and blue is imessage, but my question is do you think all of them are going through eventually?
Blue is an iMessage message to another iPhone user.
Green is a standard text message.
- Why would a text on my iPhone turn from blue to green? But what if you've been texting them and then all of a sudden your text sends a minute later and turns green? Do they still get the message if bubble turn blue to green?
- Why some numbers that I add turn green or blue on iPhone? I added some new numbers on my contacts and when I try to message them some were green and some were blue. How does iPhone know if someone is using Android or iPhone? I met this girl from a dance but I didn't get her number so I asked my friend if she has her number she said yes so she gave it to me and when I tried to text her the message was green. Does that mean she's using Android?
- When I send a message from my iphone it's green or blue? Hi. When I send a message to my friend an we both have iPhones it is blue speech bubbles but when I send it to a friend who doesn't have an iPhone it is green. Is there a way I can make the green bubble blue even though they don't have an iPhone?
