Messages that I send from one device show up as new messages on other devices (iCloud)?
When I send a text or iMessage on one of my iCloud devices (my iPhone 7, or my MBP), that message shows up as a new message on the other device. (What I mean by "new message" on the other device is that the conversation has the blue "unread" icon next to it.) It's also worth noting that if my phone is locked, a notification will pop up showing that I have a new message from the person in the conversation to whom I sent the message from my MBP, even though the message a) is not "new" AND b) is not even from the other person- it's from myself. How do I fix this? TIA.
Wow, like, massive. How can this happen in 2018? The whole world is going to sh%t
- Will my jailbreak on one device transfer to another device via iTunes? So I bought an iPhone 5 today and I'm afraid to sync it to my Apple ID/ iTunes because my 8GB iPod is also synced to that iTunes account and its jailbroken. I don't want my jailbroken iPod to affect my iPhone 5. Will it affect it? I don't think it will but I just want to make sure before I sync it for the first time.
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? - One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- Is it true that iPhones can only Bluetooth to other iPhones and no other device? I was thinking of buying either a iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4, but a friend of mine said that iPhones can only transfer files to other iPhones via Bluetooth, which sucks.
