Messages won't send to one number?

I have an iphone and i've been texting an android. It was all fine until my messages won't send. I sent a message to another android user & it went through like normal. But everytime i text the other person it says "message failed" & i try to send it again but it won't go through. Did they block me? Or is the phone dead?

I believe they blocked you. Try calling to see if it goes straight to voicemail? Usually when the phone is dead messages will still go through and they receive them when they recharge battery

There have been some flukes with some companies and iPhones, that if you are sending to someone on another phone or provider, and sending a photo or attachment, you actually have to SHUT OFF the iMessage choice in settings. Yes, this should not be this way, not should we have to do it - but this has been my experience. I think that my provider and/or iPhone has rfectified this - it works better now - but we have problems last year. I actually changed my SIM, although my husband did not - and at first, I got sucees, him not - but now, it seems better for both of us. SOOO many variable involved - worth giving one try. Or - you have been blocked.
