Messaging app for iPhone?

I'm looking for a messaging app for iPhone that WILL let me change the notification sound. You can do it on android with a lot ignore apps but not iPhone. I've tried kik, Voxer, fb, none of it works! Does anyone know an app I can change the sound on?

I notice this problem EVERY time I try and send someone a picture that has an iphone.sometimes it says it's been delivered, and other times it just will not send. Does anyone else have this problem? It's so annoying and i hate it.
