Music from IPhone 4S to HTC one?

So I'm getting bored with iPhone and I really like the HTC one and would like to get it( been waiting for awhile) but I got to thinking I have a lot of music on my phone and I need to make sure that I'm able to somehow transfer that music to HTC one and buy music on that devise as well, I have no experience with any OS other than IOS

as for the mp3s saved on yoru computer… There are 2 methods… Generation X's way… And Generation's Y's way…

Gen Y… Connect phone to computer… Put phone in USB massstorage mode by tapping USB icon in notification bar… On PC, open Windows Media Player… Choose your songs… Cick sync… When done, disconnect phone, reboot for good measure… Heav ea beer and enjoy

Gen X… Connect phone to computer… Put phone in USB massstorage mode by tapping USB icon in notification bar… On PC, open start menu, go to COMPUTER… Your phone will be listed as a hard drive, just like a jump drive (thumb drive/key chain drive)… Click on it… See Music folder… If not, make a Music folder. "Music". Just as I typed it… Now… The reason why its called Generation X… You see, we didn't have SYNC back in the day… We had to COPY AND PASTE… So… Get yoru mp3s… Copy and paste to the Music folder… When done, disconnect phone, reboot for good measure… Heav ea beer and enjoy

One way would be to plug the iPhone in a computer and copy the music on it the copy it to the htc. If the htc has an sd card as its memory, like a Samsung, then put the sd card in the computer and copy it on to it.
