Music from ITunes onto my Iphone 5?

I have a laptop and to download music I would use Youtube and convert videos into mp3 files, put them onto ITunes, then transfer the files onto my Iphone 5 like you would a regular IPod. Due to a broken screen, I'm using a friend computer. I downloaded ITunes and everything like I did on my laptop however, after I download the song, I can't transfer it into my Itunes for my Iphone 5.It just doesn't pop up and I'm not sure what to do about this.

First make sure the laptop has recognized the device and installed correctly. If it has open ITunes and if you have the latest version you will see your Iphone in a little tab in the top section (where it says songs, albums, artists… Etc.). Click the tab that says Iphone and then select music from that top section. In the main screen you should now have the option to choose playlists or other songs, once you have chosen or made the playlist you want on your Iphone, press Sync and it should be done.
