Must you change your screen protector?

I've have this screen protector for a couple years but I notice that my iphone screen gets scratches easily but I do baby it. I only got two minor scratches on it, the scratches reflect light? I guess but it's hard to explain its like a colurful scratch it's really complicating but my question was, must you change your steen protector?

Yes over the years you should replace your screen protector. You should replace every 1.5 years to every 2 years

Be careful on the type of screen protector you use. If your using the cheap ones that come in a pack. Replace them every year, it doesn't matter how many scratches you have or don't have. If you leave those screen protectors on any more than a year then they usually end up leaving this sticky residue on your actual screen when you remove it and its very difficult to get that residue off.

If your using a good screen protector like invisible shield or ghost armor, then you don't have to worry about the residue. The only way you know your screen protector needs to be replaced is if the scratches are bothering you or interfering with the visibility of your screen. For example, if you have a really long scratch down the middle of your screen then it would be a good idea to replace it.
