My Apple headphones won't work on my iPhone and only on my iPhone?

I have an iPhone and my apple headphones were working fine for one second but when I unplugged them and plugged them back in it doesn't work and the sound comes out of the speaker. I thought it was the headphones but they work on my computer and anything else. Other head phones work on my iphone, I tried 3 other headphones and they were all fine. It's just my apple head phones that don't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Maybe its the headphone. Check the volume control on the headphone.

I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. I had gotten a new iphone and forgot the answers to my security questions to my Apple ID and locked myself out of my Apple ID account. No biggie, I tried just resetting my questions like I've done in the past, but this time, the 'use a rescue email' button won't work. Whenever I clicked on it, it did nothing. I tried resetting my phone and after that didn't work, I got on my laptop and the same thing was happening. Any suggestions or fixes?
  • Iphone sound won't play out loud only in headphones I just got my iphone yesterday and put some music on it, last night i was listening to it out loud and it was working fine but this morning it doesn't won't to play outloud! If i move it a little bit the music will play but then go to silet 30 seconds later?
