My apps on my iphone won't download. What do i do?
I just restored a backup on my iphone 4s and when it was finished, nothing was downloaded. All of the apps were just loading like they were about to download and they all just say "waiting." i don't know what to do. They arent doing anything and its been like 3 hours. I don't want to turn it off because it might mess up my phone. What can i do to fix this?
This is an extremely common problem with iOs 7. Press the home and power button as is you were taking a picture, but hold it down until the screen goes black. Shortly after that, the Apple logo should come up. That should refresh everything. If it does not work for some reason, go tap on one or more of the installing apps, and that should get them running. DO NOT tap on more than three as that could overload the system.
If that still doesn't work, go into the app store>>updates>>purchased and stop several downloads

- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. Http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. Http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
