My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts?
I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
Call the manufacturer
The best solution is to go to an actual company owned store for the provider (most likely AT&T) and have them check the settings on your family plan. Your father's current phone is setup to do automatic data backups, and the provider has your iPhone 4 still linked as part of that backup… And you are receiving automatic data syncs. Chances are your father is receiving your contacts as well.
Why I recommend visiting the provider store is that they can view settings on the plan and view phones on the account. Your father may have do this, or at least be able to authorize them to dig into the plan and contract if he is the account holder. If he is getting your contacts - I bet he'll be glad to want things fixed too!
- Why does my new stereo keep changing display? I recently got a new stereo for my car. It is a JVC KD-X320BTS. When IIm driving around or just sitting listening to music it all works fine. But if I don't touch the buttons after a while the radio changes display and says random stuff like "usb for iPhone", and "voice recognition". It doesn't effect quality of sound or the performance. It's just kind of annoying. Is there anyway to fix it or make it stop and stay on the display I originally chose?
- Why do the layouts keep changing? So I was just on here (in using my iPhone) and the layout was white and purple and I accidentally closed the tab. So I pull it up again, login, and now it's back to the normal green and white layout/color scheme. What's the deal?
- My parent won't give me privacy? They touch my iphone without my permission, enter my room without my permission. When i go to school they read my text message and my facebook. They keep track and Monitoring my what i say, what i post on my facebook. They don't allow me to pot passcode to lock my iphone ( this make them easier to read my stuff!)
- My iPhone 5s keeps changing the the name of my contacts? My new iPhone keeps change my dad and my friends contact name to there number and removes there picture. My phone service is Verizon. Only my dad and friends contacts are changed not my mom, cousins and businesses are not changed only dad and my friends. Is there a way to stop it from changeling the contacts names
