My DCIM files are not showing on my computer?
Ok I use to have an android and switched to an iPhone. I put all my pictures on my sim card on the DCIM file. I no longer have the android so the sim card was my only backup. I plugged the sim card into my computer and the DCIM file is empty. How can I get those files back? Do i need to plug it into an old phone? Or can I not get these anymore? Please help. I have tons of memories in my pictures and really want to see them.
I would recommend first checking all of the files you can on your sim card. If you can't find the photos still, you will need your old phone.
You can take your charging cable and connect the phone to your computer. From a disk management tool, such as Windows Explorer, or My Computer, etc.
Next, you can either select import photos from the Windows 7 or higher autorun menu. Or you can find your phone in the list of drives, then search through the files on your phone to find all of your pictures and then copy them to wherever you would like them in your computer files.
- Why does my Computer take forever to copy files to my Desktop now? My computer was working fine until yesterday. All of the sudden it takes 2 hours to copy 20 videos from my iphone to my computer. I do this All the time and it takes no longer than 20 secs to copy the files to my desktop. But yesterday and today it's been taking up to 2 hours. I have windows 7 and an HP computer. It's practically a brand new PC.
- Where are my backed up iphone files (photos) in my computer? So I just wanted to plug in my iphone 5 to my dads computer (its a pc) so i could download some of his music lol but it made me back up my iphone so i was like ok ya whatever, but now i'm concerned because my plan was to back up my iphone, and then delete everything off his computer… I just have photos and videos and such that parents shouldn't see lol so does anyone know where these files are?
- Opening picture files on computer? I'm struggling to open certain picture files from my email on my computer. The picture was sent from my iphone. When I try to open it it appears to fly to the left of my screen.
- IPhone not showing up on computer? My iPhone is showing up in iTunes, but not on my computer. I use a PC with Windows 7. Under the device manager where it is listed, there's an exclamation mark next to it. I have spent the past 5 hours researching on how to fix. I just want to download my phone's photos to my laptop. I have tried everything. I really need help.
