My Dell Studio 15 laptop isn't finding any Wi-Fi networks whatsoever?
I've had a problem recently that my Dell Studio 15 laptop (it's only a couple years old) hasn't been discovering any Wi-Fi networks whatsoever. Like none of them show up. AT ALL. I've tried resetting the network adapter, turning it off and on again, resetting the router, modem, etc. I don't know what else to do or what I'm doing wrong. The only way I can get my laptop to connect is through an ethernet plug. I know it's not the internet connection itself because my iPhone and iPad have no problem connecting. I know it's not too far away - I live in a house on the smaller side, and it won't even discover my home network when I'm right next to the router. I can't even begin to imagine what I'm doing wrong, and boy, do I need help! Any and all advice is appreciated; thank you very much!
Have you switched the Wi-Fi on with the blue Fn button
It seeme that either your wireless switch is off on your computer. Also your wireless adapter might be trash so try buying a new one
Go to the device mgr and uninstall the Wi-Fi software
then reboot
it will auto install the deleted software and that may do it as well
Open cmd as an administrator. You can do this by going to start/ accessories/ right click on cmd/ run as administrator. Then type this command without the quotes " netsh winsock reset catalog ". Also try " ipconfig /flushdns". Remember to restart computer after running a command.
- Why won't my Internet work on my Dell laptop? I have a Dell Inspiron M5030 laptop with Windows 7. The Internet was working for a while and either something came unplugged inside or some connection isn't working. My iPhone and my sisters laptop work fine. I also tried to speed up my computer and uninstalled some things. I may have accidentally uninstalled the Atheros adapter. But when I go to check, it's there she times and sometimes not. Any help? - Why do I have to restart my Dell laptop to reconnect to the internet? I have Wi-Fi internet with Charter but we have a lot of connection problems. My ipad and iphone automatically reconnects as soon as internet if availible again but my laptop has to be restarted for me to get back on the internet is there something I can change in the settings to fix this?
- My Iphone can't find any networks ANY I Have an IPhone 3G and when I go to Wi-Fi settings, it loads for a second then nothings pops out, My brother has the same iphone as mine, but on his Wi-Fi settings, a ton of networks pop out. Anyone out there who knows how to solve my problem?
- Is there any difference between the beats wireless studio 2 and the brand new studio 3 wireless headphones? I currently have the beats pro that I bought a few years ago and I have the new iPhone 8 and it doesn't take a headphone jack unless you buy the special adapter which isn't godly expensive like $5-7. But to me that defeats the purpose of the phone. I was just curious as to if there are any key differences between the two and if so, what are they? Which would you prefer the two? Or maybe even keeping my headphones and getting the adapter?
