My earbuds work sporadically, how can I fix it?
My earbuds ALWAYS work-in at least one ear. At times the volume will be practically gone (but still vaguely there) in one ear and perfectly fine in the other. When this happens I'll go into accessibility settings and change the volume distribution so it balances, but then I can't get the volume up too well because it takes it almost all the way to the right to get both earbuds to play the same volume. And it's not some permanent damage thing. Every once in a while This happens and then eventually the earbuds return to normal functioning, these are like twenty dollar earbuds and I break every pair I own and I have no idea why I keep breaking them.theseaee earbuds where the place where they plug into my phone (the metal thing that actually goes into the headphone jack) is connected to the cord by this l shaped rubber thing except it's crazy bent from I guess some sort of misuse but I have no idea where I went wrong and some days I can spin it around and find a sweet spot where they work again and today I can't. I'm so tired of this bs. How do I fix this? Do I really have to buy AirPods? I've broken a solid seven pairs this year, granted two or three of them were pretty cheap. Still, it's only May so far. This feels excessive. Wtf am I doing wrong? I just want to listen to music!
Check for these common defects:
Bad contact between the plug and the jack.
Bent plug.
Broken wire.

But try a plastic or widen toothpick in the jack input, and see if you can fund any dust, dirt, etc. Just from putting his phone into a pants pocket every day, my DH actually made FELT inside his lightning port! Cleaned it over white paper so he could see everything that came out! I often clean my Logitech roller ball, keyboard - you can't help picking up dust, no matter how clean a person you are. But daily I keep my pro musical instruments clean, so maintaining my audio and digital stuff is just normal. And our secund car is a 15 year old Malibu that looks showroom fresh - our home had been used for movie shoots. Once you get used to being neat and clean, it is EASY to keep up - and saves you a ton a money over things breaking and wearing out. Marie Kondo? Puhleez - an amateur. You should have seen my grandfather's garden and henhouse.

- Why won't my iPhone earbuds work on my iPhone but work fine on a computer? So I have the worst luck with earbuds and it happens to be reoccurring. I have a normal iPhone 5 and I enjoy music but when I listen to my songs only one earbud will work while the other one is dead. - My earbuds will not work on my laptop? I have a HP Compaq nc6400. The earbuds are new and came with an iPhone 5. They have worked until today. They are in the right hole, the volume for everything is on. I have tried restarting my laptop. The sound works when the earbuds are out, but not in. Please help?
