I have the notification for the update and every time I try to update it all it says is "checking for update" for a long time and nothing comes up. Also my App Store and ITunes store every time I search something nothing pops up.what's wrong with my phone?!

I've tried logging out and back in and I've also deleted the app and reinstalled it. My home Wi-Fi is working and everything else is working fine on my phone but I can't try to use without Wi-Fi as I have no data - incase it has anything to do with that.
