My GoPro Hero 3 Black won't play video when I try to look at it on sound?
I just recently used it the other day (first time) and I uploaded the new upload to use the Iphone App and I went surfing today and went to look back at the video and the video came out black but the sound works.
If you have sound, but a black screen, chances are there's no problem with the camera. It is likely your computer lacks the HD playback ability, or has the proper codecs, but lacks the performance.
Make sure computer meets the minimum requirements.
Load the latest cineform
Make sure the camera is up-to-date on firmware (Format card, take one picture, turn off camera, open cineform, plug in camera to computer via USB, turn on camera… Whew… If camera needs update, a message will be displayed here.
Then, if there's still a problem, try on another computer.
