Try cleaning out the headphone jack. Sometimes stuff gets in there.
I go through a lot of earbuds with my iPhone. For some reason, they always break near the connector and start making weird sounds.
Most common cause is dust and dirt - and often COMPACTED, like felt! - in the port. Shut everything off. Use a wooden toothpick or plastic dental pick - NEVER METAL! - and under a bring light, like a desk lamp, dig around in there until you can shake and flick out all that junk. And while you are at it, clean out the charging port - if ONE is dirty, chances are that they both are. Did my DH's phone this week, after he complained that *the cable does not go into the phone, and to charge it I have to HOLD it in one position. Fixed in less than 2 minutes.
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.

Are there any loud speakers that can connect to the headphone jack of a 4s? Would a normal loud speaker that connects through the dock connector work, like the iHorns?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
