My iMessage never delivered?
So my boyfriend didn't pay his phone bill this month so he no longer can make calls or do anything on his phone unless he has Wi-Fi. He has an iPhone 4. I text him off of an iPod touch though because I don't have an iPhone. We both text off of iMessage, but since I only have an iPod and he didn't pay his phone bill, we both need Wi-Fi in order to talk. I sent him a text through iMessage today and it never said "delivered". I know he's at work right now, and not sure if there's Wi-Fi at his work. Is that a possible reason of why it hasn't delivered?
Right, it won't say delivered until his phone has Wi-Fi access.
- What happens when you send an iMessage to someone who has an iPhone, the messages show that it was delivered, but then it shows nothing? I was sending messages to my friend through my iPhone, it showed that it was "delivered" each time, and then out of nowhere I sent a few more and it showed nothing? I can't tell whether the remaining few messages were sent or not. Does that mean I was blocked? Is there a problem with the cellular data on my end or on my friend's end? Was my friend's phone not on? What could it be and how can I tell?
- What does it mean if an imessage doesn't say delivered on iPhone? Every time I text my date it either says "read" or "delivered", but this morning I texted him and I haven't heard from him and the iMessage doesn't say read or delivered?
- IMessage says delivered could that also mean they deleted my message? Some of my friends have not replied to my texts in a few days, and it says on iMessage that the text is "delivered". Could they have just deleted the message in their inbox before opening it, and that's why it still says "delivered"? We all have iPhone.
- Is a delivered iMessage read? So I was wondering how I could tell if my iMessage was read by the person I sent it to without turning my read receipts on? I don't think it's possible but it's worth asking. And also what exactly does delivered mean? Does it mean that the person got my message and saw it? Or does it mean that it was delivered to their phone and has yet to be read? What does it mean? Sorry I'm not very iPhone smart!
