My iOS 6 updates on my iPhone 4S are not showing up
I downloaded iOS 6 update, but I'm seeing NONE of the iOS 6 update features on my phone at all that I should have, it's as if I didn't do an update it all. I know because all my friends/families have iPhones and they all have the iOS 6 features that are not showing up on my phone at all. I went into Settings > General > Software Update to check and make sure I downloaded the iOS 6.0 update all the way, and it's saying that I did: "iOS 6.0 - Your software is up to date" it says. Well then where the F$*& are the update features! This is so frustrating…
Try rebooting your phone by holding both the power and home button until the apple logo shows up. If nothing happens, back up your phone on iCloud, then plug your phone to you computer, update it on there, then recover everything on icloud
That's just… Weird.
If you downloaded the iOS 6 update over the air (meaning via wireless download), then that's probably your problem. Way too many reports are being sent to apple saying that iOS 6 was the most difficult OTA update for iPhones to handle.
If you did the update through your computer, as recommended for any major iOS update, then this is certainly a problem that could be repaired by doing an iPhone restore, if you're willing to do it.
- Where Are The iOS Updates Stored On iPhone? I downloaded iOS 9 on my iPhone 6 and I decided to install it the next day. But, the very next day iOS 9.0.1 was launched and i was not able to install iOS 9. It also disappeared for General>Usage and hence, it is utilizing storage on my iPhone but can't be installed. Can anyone tell me how can i delete the iOS 9 update?
- Twitter updates only showing on e-mail? So when I turn on my iPhone, twitter updates show up saying so and so favortied my tweet or retweeted my tweet and things like that. But when I go into twitter, it doesn't show up. I'll try to see who favorited my tweet, and it will only show the first person who favorited it. When I go to my e-mail, it will say people favorited and retweeted as well. But on both my iPhone and computer they don't show up. Any way to fix this?
- My iPhone 6 (iOS 9) is showing the wrong amount of minutes next to updates on my lock screen? For example, if I got a text 9 minutes ago, instead of saying "9 min" next to the text (on my lockscreen), it will say "3 min" instead. I don't know why it's started doing this. I think it's probably a small problem with iOS 9 or I accidentally messed something up when I created a new iCloud account last week, which is around when this started. Does anybody know how to fix this?
- Ios 7 not showing up? Iphone 5? I'm trying to upgrade to IOS 7 but its not coming up on my Iphone 5. I went to software updates but the update is not there. What should i do? Can i get it on itunes?
