My iPhone 3GS froze, turned itself off, and won't turn back on?

I have had my iPhone 3GS for about a year now. Earlier, I was on my Facebook app and the screen froze. That's happened before, but it normally fixes itself, so I waited for it to just unfreeze. Instead, it shut off completely. Well, I'm assuming that's what happened. The screen just went black. Now it won't turn back on. I have tried to restart it by using the lock button like normal, but that didn't work. It won't charge and it just stays at a black screen. I tried hooking it up to iTunes and it didn't even show that I had a device in.

That happened to my ipod before… In a few days it will turn bak on

Also when I click my home button one time the phone sometimes wouldnt come on till the second click. What can I do?

It was on like 80% battery so it didn't die. I tried plugging it in to the charger to see if i could get it to turn back on but it will not turn on. I don't know what happened!

I have an iphone 4s, i've had it for a year now.recently it will randomly turn itself off even when it has charge in it, it will go off and not turn on for hours. I keep trying to turn it on and eventually it will come up with bit saying it needs to be charged basically.sometimes the screen will go blue or come up with random colours and turn off. I have no insurance for it either. I ordered it online, it's a contract with 3 mobile.i'm not sure if warranty as run out.
