My iPhone 3GS Is Stuck In DFU Mode?

I tried to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS [running on iOS 6.0.1] using Redsn0w. Than, I put the phone into DFU Mode so can jailbreak. But after the jailbreak [first part] is completed, the phone should reboot but it didn't. Instead it appear black screen. I can't on it as it is in DFU Mode and iTunes also can't detect it.iTunes say I need to restore it to use my phone with iTunes. How to get out from DFU Mode? My phone is stuck in DFU Mode… Help! All helps are appreciated. Thanks.

Added (1). How to get out from DFU Mode WITHOUT RESTORING IT?

I have jailbroken my phone(s) a lot of times, including my friends. I have had problems at times and I had this problem too. If you visit limerain.com you will find the program needed.

Here is the link to the firmware downloads so you can get out of DFU with the program: (MAKE SURE ITS THE SAME FIRMWARE YOUR PHONE WAS ON)

Once you download both, run the program and click extras. Then click on select IPSW… Select the firmware file you downloaded and then click on Pwned DFU. Follow the steps it tells you and your phone should work again.

  • What happens when you put your iphone into dfu mode when its turned on? I had my iphone on and put it into dfu mode( i think thats what its called ) but i held down the home and power button for ten seconds and then let go of the power button and continued to hold the home button for another ten seconds. My screen went black and now it won't turn on! I plugged it into itunes and restored it. Will that fix everything. If not help me please!

So once I successfully entered PWNED DFU Mode, I 'got out of it' and the apple logo came out. Since my iPhone was tethered jailbroken, I had to click just boot. And the apple logo would just stay there until I did the tethered just boot option.So, my iPhone screen was at the apple logo and I tried to enter DFU mode normally, the thing got back to PWNED DFU mode… Urgent reply!
