My iPhone 3gs keeps showing apple logo and then shutting off and repeating

My iPhone 3gs keeps showing the white apple logo then shuts off then repeat while charging how do i fix this? I've tried resting it already

Take it to an Apple Store for assistance

You may need a new battery. If you overcharge it, it'll make the battery life last shorter.

Try a different charger because the one you use may not be good.

Also take the phone apart and make sure all the wires are properly attached.

If there are further issues you may need to get it looks at or you're due for a new phone.

There could be several reasons for this issue. Try restoring with itunes with latest firmware.
