My iPhone 3gs phone keeps crashing
The phone shuts completely off and won't turn back on. I will plug it to the charger but all I get is the apple logo flashing then sometimes the low battery indicator will appear. I always have to restore it in iTunes and then it works again but for only a short time before shutting off again. Also I have too put the phone in DFU mode to get my laptop to reconize it. What could be causing this? Is the battery old or is it the software?
If you still have a 3gs I'm pretty sure you have had it long enough to be able to upgrade through your carrier. The 3gs is going to become a "vintage" product meaning we no longer provide support for the device and it will pretty much just be a paper weight…

The day after I get this update, my iPhone se starts to crash and freeze. My friends told me hers does the same thing (she has a iPhone 5 if that helps). So do you think the update or just our phones?
