My IPHONE 4 DIED? STATIC NOISE?

I was texting on my Iphone,

suddenly the iphone started playing
Static noise out of the ear speaker for 20 seconds,

the next moment the iphone froze up totally.
Now i can't start the Iphone again. What's the issue?

Added (1). I tried to do that. It doesn't work.

Try holding in the home button and the lock/off button until the iphone comes on/ or restarts.

  • Why does my iphone play static music? I use a usb cord to plug my iphone into my car to play music. Sometimes when I plug it in all I hear is all this static music. Why?
  • What causes the rattling noise in the new iPhone 5 and is it bad it makes this noise? Near the proximity sensor when i shake the phone back and forth something inside rattles and it is beginning to concern me.
  • My mom died last year and now all of her pictures died too. Restore without iCloud? I'm in serious pain rn, please help me, I have no iCloud and all my pictures got deleted and are gone from my iPhone 6. This is all I have from my mom from last year, her last year, is there any chance I can download software on my computer even for money and get them back? Anyone who restore without iCloud?
  • My iphone 6 is makind very loud static noise? I was watching a video on the facebook app and turned on the sound but instead of music or talking there was very loud static noise although i had the sound on at lowest. I thought it was just the app so i quit and and opened it but whenever i tried to put on the sound there was the static again. I then tried to listen to music but whenever i pressed the play button, once again, there was very loud static noise. I tried to restart my iphone but it did nothing. Any advise?
