If you can't hook it up to itunes and restore. You might have to wait until it dies completely and turns off…

if that doesn't work hold the home key and power key at the same time.

Hold power button and home button for 10 seconds, then let go of the home button but keep holding the power button until the apple logo shows up. You just restarted the phone.
