My iPhone 4 having problems with audio when video taping?
Ok so I have had this phone for 2 months now and it's just now having this issue. When I record sound and other things it's fine except when I record video on my phone this sound is barely audible. I mean you still hear it but barely. Also anything else where sound around me and my voice I can hear it fine. So what's wrong with it and what should I do about it?

The Iphone microphone is about the same audio pickup as a SM style microphone. These are the one most singers have tight to there mouths when singing That is why the Iphone has bad audio for it's videos. Unless you are two or three feet from the camcorder, it can't pick it up.
- Why won't my iPhone record audio when I take a video? Every time I try to record a video with my iPhone it won't pick up the audio. All I here is this static noise. Sometimes I can barley hear my voice behind all the static. It just randomly started happening. When I record in voice memo it picks up my voice just fine. Phone calls work fine too. It just doesn't work when I try to take a video.

I recorded multiple clips from my iPhone 4s and imported them, edited them and completed my movie although when I render the video into any format it only plays my title and maybe the first clip (only in quicktime) and then the rest of the film is in black with only audio playing in the background. I'm also using an aux jack to my computer to record the sound through audacity. I'm using Pinnacle HD Studio 15 for my video editing. The problem is i can't get the audio to sync to the video. Every time i play the preview the audio is quite far behind the video, Even though i'm pressing record on my iphone and comp at the same time.

I've had this phone for awhile, always been enclosed in an otter box, so it's not damaged, but lately it will not play my music unless hooked up to my stereo or car radio, the text ringtone doesn't go off just vibrates, no sound from videos of any kind! The ringtone for an incoming call works, but that's it! Anyone know what's up with this?
