My iPhone 4 home and power buttons are both stuck. Is it worth getting repaired?
The home button has been stuck for several months now, and I have been using the Assistive button instead. However, today the power button randomly became stuck/stopped working, and I've tried all the tips to get it working again, short of taking the iPhone apart.
I'm not confident to attempt the repairs myself, and according to the internet, it will cost between $120-150 AUD per button to fix.
Is it worth getting the buttons fixed, as the phone still works perfectly fine? It is two and a half years old, so would I be better off investing in the iPhone 5?
Also, if you have any other tips for home repairs that I might not have tried, please let me know!
Thanks!
Added (1). My phone is two and a half years old, so it's long past it's warranty unfortunately.

Have you past your warranty? If not apple with replace you phone for free
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
- My iphone 3gs home and lock buttons won't work I know about the accesive touch thing and i use that to lock and go to the home screen but when i my phone is locked the only way i can get the screen to light up is taking out the sim card and putting it back in. Is there any other ways?
- Is it worth getting my iPhone 5c repaired? It's in really bad condition, I've dropped it a couple times and the screen is shattered. It also does the "ghost touching" and white lines all over the screen. Should i just get a new phone or just repair?
- Iphone 5 power and volume buttons wobbly? They're kinda wobbly, they jiggle side to side and up and down. The iphone 4 ones were solid. Is this a feature or something wrong with my phone?
