My iPhone 4 is dead! What to do?

Recently my iPhone 4 has been experiencing failure. The power button was no longer working, so I activated assistive touch in settings and it was fine, an inconvenience, but ok. However, the home button now doesn't function and neither does the ringer button or volume buttons. To add to that, the assistive touch does not respond and is unusable. My verizon plan doesn't allow me an upgrade until November of 2014 and I don't know what to do. I can't afford to buy another iPhone without a contract because that can be up to $800! None of my friends have old ones I could buy for a cheaper price either. Would verizon or apple give me a new iPhone for a reduced or free price if I explained it's problems?

Just take it in. They'll probably exchange it for a refurnished one.

Just charge it do you have a charger? Then charge your battery

  • Where to watch The Walking Dead on the iPod touch/iPhone? Is there a good website where I could watch the series the walking dead on my 4g iPod touch for free? Preferably the full series, but if I could get just the first season that's fine. And if it requires adobe to watch it, that doesn't work on the iPod.
  • Where can I watch the walking dead season 2 on iPhone? I have Netflix but its only season one and dish network no longer provides amc so can't watch on tv.
  • What place can recover hard drive data from a dead iPhone 4? My phones battery circuitry short circuited from water damage. So my iPhone can't charge and is completely out of battery. Is there any place that can take out the hard drive and recover the data (music, contacts, pictures) and put it on my current phone?
  • Iphone goes dead even when I have high percentage of battery left? My iPhone sometimes goes dead and runs out of battery even when I have like 50% battery left? One time it was 85% and It just turned off itself? I have turned the brightness down and tried to have as little apps as possible. I go on Facebook all the time and twitter etc, I also use safari and text a lot. Any advice on how my iPhone could last longer?
