My iphone 4 is jailbroken on 5.1.1 and now cydia won't open
Or any apps i downloaded off of installous. I've had it for about a week and then my phone died, once i recharged it, it was like i never jailbroke it but i still have cydia and installous and the apps i got for free but now none of them open, they all crash immediately, even safari does… Help please?
You, my friend, have a tethered jailbreak. This means that if your iphone shuts off for any reason that most web apps and cydia apps won't work until you re-jailbreak it. On the computer that you jailbroke your device, open up the redsn0w application. You get two options 1 Jailbreak 2 extras.click on extras (make sure your iphone is plugged in and powered off). Then choose the first optioon: just boot.clisck that and follow the instructions.
- What will happen to apps installed via cydia if I will delete cydia? I jailbroken the iphone for the purpose of installing an app which is not available in appstore. Now I do not need cydia anymore, I can delete it by deleting its packages. But what will happen to the app that is installed using cydia if I will remove cydia?

- I have a problem with itunes. Something went wrong during an update now won't open? I left the laptop installing an update on itunes i think the laptop went to sleep half way through which now itunes won't open it comes up with "itunes was not installed correctly please re install itunes error 7 (windows error 126)" now i have tried re installing and it doesn't do anything. I'm worried that if i delete itunes i will loose my backups for my iphone which typically i need which is why i was trying to go on itunes in the first place.
